Smoking and Vaping

3.png

Research shows that cigarettes contain around 7,000 chemicals and vapes contain around 2,000 chemicals. A 2 hour hypnotherapy session has been shown to help a person succeed in becoming a non-smoker.

24 hours after quitting smoking, a person’s chance of a heart attack is decreased, Carbon Monoxide levels in the blood drop to normal, Oxygen levels in the blood increase to normal and blood pressure drops to normal. 2.5-5 years after quitting smoking, the lung cancer death rate for the average former smoker is almost halved, and the risk of mouth and throat cancer is halved.

If we go back 40 years or so, abut 70% of men smoked and about 38% of women. Experts tell us today that in Great Britain 12.5% of the population smoke and it’s dropping by around 240,000 people every year. They also tell us that from middle age to death only about 8 or 9% of the country smokes. The inference we have to draw from this is that for the most part, the majority of smokers do not find it difficult to stop.

The issue is that the primitive brain believes that smoking and vaping is helpful, it can be a powerful advocate for arguments that ‘smoking and vaping is good for stress’, ‘it helps to cope with the day’, ‘it helps you enjoy life a bit more’.

Sadly, the primitive mind has got it completely wrong - smoking and vaping can actually be a cause of stress and anxiety. When we are in our intellectual brain, we know that we don’t need to smoke or vape, nor do we war to. Hypnotherapy allows us to access our intellectual brain so that we can make the right choices about smoking and vaping.
