Anger is a primitive response. When we feel threatened in any way, we make ourselves big, loud and strong to scare or fight off any attackers. Our ancestors used this response to keep us alive when hunting and gathering in the wild. However, this response is no longer necessary in a world that doesn’t pose the same threat.
Hypnotherapy works to help you understand your behaviours and helps to reduce them. Through putting you back into your rational mindset, you are able to stay logical and in control of your emotions.
